That’s my approach to designing a living space, whether it’s a living room, bedroom or kitchen. All the pieces have to fit to create the big picture.
Needless to say, flooring is a major piece of creating a space that reflects your style. It’s really what pulls all the different elements of your room together – walls, furniture, fixtures and décor.

The Opus Collection

Opus is a gluedown collection, which simply means the planks and tiles are glued to the surface during installation. Planks and tiles can be cut in different sizes and shapes, then pieced together in eye-catching patterns. Think herringbone, stripes, borders, etc.

The Knight Tile Collection
The other Karndean collection I want to highlight is Knight Tile. Now, the cool thing about Knight Tile is every wood and stone design is available in gluedown *and* what’s known as rigid core luxury vinyl.
Rigid core is different from gluedown in a couple key ways. First of all, the flooring clicks and locks together during installation, rather than being glued to the subfloor. The click-lock installation is relatively fast and easy, which minimizes disruption during a renovation.
Rigid core also differs from gluedown in that it’s made with a sound-absorbing backing. That’s going to reduce noise to lower floors – a great option for upstairs bedrooms or children’s playrooms.
Bottom line? Knight Tile can not only deliver the style you’re looking for, but also the unique benefits of gluedown or rigid core based on your project needs.
